Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly does Encore move after I apply?
Fast. Our team reviews every application within one business day. If there's a fit, you'll hear from us for an intro call within 2–3 business days. Most providers go from first conversation to seeing patients within a few weeks.
Are these W-2 or 1099 positions?
We offer both employment (W-2) and independent contractor (1099) arrangements depending on the role and region. This is discussed during the intro call so you can choose the structure that works best for you.
Do I need wound care certification to apply?
Certification (WCC, CWS, CWOCN) is preferred for clinical roles but not always required. Encore provides clinical mentorship and supports providers in pursuing certification through the EWCA and third-party education partners.
Who handles credentialing and facility enrollment?
Encore manages every step: insurance enrollment, facility credentialing, and state licensing coordination. You won't be asked to chase a credentialing form or manage a facility relationship on your own.
Can I work part-time?
Yes. Encore accommodates a range of availability. Some providers round 2–3 days per week while others carry full-time caseloads. We build schedules around your availability and match you to facilities accordingly.
